LJ Cards & More is a home-based business situated along the coast of beautiful Nova Scotia.  The ocean is our constant companion!

Lisette Jones is the founder and owner of LJ Cards & More.  Lisette grew up in the tiny Acadian village of West Pubnico and made the move to Cape Sable Island when she got married. 

As a child, Lisette was fortunate to have had the influences of her mother -- an extremely talented artist.  Over the years, Lisette says she's been asked numerous times, "Are you an artist like your mother?" But Lisette has always been hesitant to compare herself to her mother's great abilities, so you can imagine Lisette's joy when she and her mother were working at the dining room  and "mom" was paying close attention to duplicate her techniques.  That's when Lisette realized that she REALLY had found her niche! (smile) "Mom" also works for LJ Cards & More.

Lisette has a background in journalism and human services.  She wrote five manuals for tutors and instructors to use with adult learners and instructed an adult upgrading program.  Over the years, she has gotten involved with many crafts, but rubber stamping took a grip on her like no other art has.  Lisette says that "rubber stamping took my heart and ran away with it...so I followed."
