celebration this summer in Atlantic Canada -- the Congres Mondial Acadien 2004!
The Congres Mondial Acadian 2004 is the third international Acadian celebration of its kind -- it took place from July 31st to August 15th, 2004. __________________________ LJ Cards & More is proud to have created the official commemorative card for this special event. LJ Cards & More's artist, Simone Meuse, illustrated the image which was then made into a rubber stamp. Click here to read about the artist. The image on each card is hand-stamped and embossed, water-colored by hand, framed with navy linen and red confetti cardstock, and attached to a white felt deckle card. A hand-stamped, embossed, raised yellow star in the corner of the card adds the finishing touch. Every card is a miniature watercolor and can be framed for a keepsake. Every one is an original and initialed by the artist. "Official Commemorative Card Congres Mondial Acadien 2004" is printed in English and French on the inside of the card on vellum along with a thank you to Parks Canada and the Promotion Society of Grand-Pre. Personalized text is also available inside FREE of charge for order of 30 cards or more. (Example, family names and reunion dates.) Includes a matching felt deckle envelope. 5" x 6 5/8"
